Monitoring when phone lines go away
Many fire alarm panels still report to their monitoring company over copper phone lines, and those lines are being retired. When a line is disconnected or swapped for a digital service, the panel may stop communicating reliably, and a trouble signal can sit unanswered in a building nobody checks daily. We replace dialers with cellular or IP communicators, check signal strength at the panel location, and confirm alarm, supervisory and trouble signals reach the central station.
Local inspection requirements
Sussex County’s municipalities enforce the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code through local fire officials, and much of the county is protected by volunteer fire companies. A well-maintained system with fewer nuisance alarms matters to everyone who answers the call. We schedule your NFPA 72 inspections, deliver written reports and correct deficiencies.
